E3 Roundup: Assassin’s Creed Unity Co-Op Trailer

Assassin’s Creed Unity will be set in Paris during the French Revolution. You’ll play as the assassin Arno as you explore, battle and form your own brotherhood. Arno is drawn into the world of assassination as a youth and has to take part in the turbulent war at hand.

Arno will be able to wear customizable outfits and has a wide array of weapons at his disposal. You’ll be able to make use of this vast repertoire to truly play the way you desire to. Hopefully this will allow for more varied and unique encounters as you play (although to be fair I’ve yet to actually spend more than twenty minutes with Black Flag, so they might’ve already done that).

Combat and navigation have been redesigned from the ground up with the goal in mind of allowing you to either be a tank of an assassin or a lithe assailant.

Assassin’s Creed Unity will launch on October 28th for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4. The game will also be available in a collector’s edition featuring a statue of Arno hanging out with a gargoyle, the official soundtrack, a collector’s box to store all your cool stuff in, an art book, two in game missions and a music box that plays a remix of the game’s theme.

I was just gonna get the standard addition, but…I freakin’ love music boxes.

Last but not least, if you pre-order you’ll get to play an exclusive half hour mission called The Chemical Revolution where you help Antoine Lavoisier (attributed as being the father of modern chemistry) escape from some bad dudes and steal back his formula for a poison bomb.

One can only hope I can use said poison bomb on the Templars. Or…whoever I hate in this game.
